You will be part of the multi-national Back-Office team in Statkraft, which currently consists out of around 50 colleagues. The colleagues are based in Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Oslo and Tirana. Back Office is the process engine for all commercial transactions. We are responsible for validation of the transactions, clearing and collaterals, contract settlements, billing, accruing, revenue accounting and EU regulatory reporting for all trading and origination transaction across Europe and the US. In a quick and changing environment we are building the bridge between our commercial departments and Finance units.

**Job Description**:
The Back Office Trading OTC unit is responsible for billing, accruals, month end closing procedures of all transactions with third parties/external counterparties (OTC) trading with us Power, Gas, Option Premiums, Dispatch trades, Southeast Europe trades, trading with our UK branch, cross border capacities and some other products.

This department has a strong focus in keeping an excellent relation and contact with our counterparties, ensuring correct and accurate revenues and cost figures, timely processing of outgoing/incoming invoices, timely and correct netting statement generation and ensuring timely and correct payments.

**Your role**:

- Make an impact: Contribute to smooth and accurate daily and monthly operations in crucial processes such as invoicing, netting statements, accruals, preparation of payments etc
- Communicate with internal and external customers about all matters regarding operational trading, besides Close co-operate with Front Office and other units in the Finance Department
- Analytics: Engage in process analysis, implement improvement and quality assurance of processes and systems
- Learning on the job: Build up very good financial knowledge for power commodities as well as Develop an understanding of Deal Entry to Payment concept for different processes related to commodity products such as power, gas, options traded in different countries and entities

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or similar educational background
- Knowledge and practical experience with Digital Collaboration tools (e.g. Office 365, MS Teams, MS Flow, PBI)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (experienced level VBA, macro)
- Precise, accurate and well-structured working style.
- A good team player with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English, additional knowledge of German/Norwegian is a plus
- Enjoy working in fast-paced, challenging and international environment
- Excellent attention to detail

The working time can be organized flexibly within the week (on an hourly basis) up to 20 hours per week.
