Director Product Management

You will engage in executive, professional, and technical roles in product development of HERE products for driver assistance and automated driving. The creation of these products with new or different characteristics will offer new or additional benefits to our customers and their consumers. Product development may involve modification of an existing product or its presentation, or formulation of an entirely new product that satisfies a newly defined customer need or market niche.

As a leader of the HERE product management team for Driver Assistance & Automated Driving Content products:

- You will define and guide the future of our product offerings and will lead a team of product managers,
- You will work with our internal and external customers and play a key role in customer driven product development.
- You will lead a comprehensive product strategy - from product conception and definition, through end of life. This includes the identification and validation of market problems, the collection of market information from both a technical and a commercial point of view, and the translation into product strategy and product requirements.
- You will oversee the positioning of the products in the market, creation, and execution of plans for sales readiness and marketing activities.
- You create and maintain a product roadmap that illustrates the vision and key phases of product deliverables.
- You will lead the orchestration of product management and its stakeholders in design, engineering, quality, testing, product marketing, and product operations as the product(s) move(s) through their lifecycle. You define the strategy and lead execution of long-term plans for products. This includes products’ business case creation and maintenance, as well as cost/profit control. You focus on market needs and insights to promote the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
- You lead a team and will select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure the efficient operation and engagement of the team.
- You provide leadership and direction through senior managers or manage an org-wide body of work or process.
- You are accountable for the performance and results of a significant segment of a group or a large sub-group.
- You strongly influence your team and your product strategy and you execute strategy to achieve key team objectives. Decisions are guided by company and group strategy and objectives.

Who are you?:
You will be successful in the role with the following:

- Experience in leading a diverse team across multiple locations and time zones. Experience in leading a team of product managers in a greater product development organization. Influences long-term group strategy and executes said strategy to achieve key objectives.
- You have had successful product launches in complex technology area
- Demonstrated record of partnering with various teams in a complex (matrix) environment
- Ability to manage by influence. You can shapes the opinions of, and negotiates with, other senior leaders; establishes collaborative relationships across the business and with external organizations
- Ability to operate at big picture level and dive into details where needed
- Experience in areas of our field of work, i.e., automotive, ADAS, automated driving, cloud services, automotive software, map data, Navigation Data Standard (NDS)
- Ability to collect, aggregate, validate, and formulate product requirements from customers and translation into product portfolio, product requirements, and roadmaps
- Experience in the automotive industry with respect to engagement models, and RFx procedures with OEMs
