Private Equity Investment Professional

The PE Investment Professional will, under the supervision of a senior member of the private equity team, source, due diligence and implement investments across the private equity asset class including fund investments and co-investments. The PE Investment Professional may selectively be supporting in the due diligence and execution of secondary transactions.

Your role and responsibilities will include:
**AXA IM Prime business set-up**
- Actively contribute to initial product development of best-in-class AXA IM Private Equity Primary
- and Co-investment offerings.
- Positively contribute to a wider recognition of the AXA IM Prime brand as Private Market Enabler to institutional and private investors

**Investment Strategy / Portfolio Construction**
- Support in executing Prime’s Private Equity investment strategy / product launches considering key portfolio criteria
- Proactively anticipate and identify portfolio adjustments

**Pipeline Management / Opportunities screening**
- Pipeline Management / Opportunities screening by implementing and constantly improving stringent process of identifying, evaluating, contacting and relationship building with GPs
- Systematically screen, pre-select and source targets (funds, co-investments)
- Pro-actively support secondary sourcing

**Primary Fund and Co-investment Due Diligence**
- Perform thorough commercial, financial, operational and ESG due diligence of fund and co-investment offerings, drafting of committee papers and presenting initial and final recommendation to AXA IM Prime / AXA / Vehicle Board Investment Committees
- Strong focus on AXA’s ESG requirements and strategy in PE Primary Fund and Co-Investment Selection

**Primary Fund
- and Co-Investments / Deal execution**
- Deal execution under supervision of more senior PE Team members leading the execution of Primary fund commitments and Co-Investment transactions in close collaboration with internal stakeholders / external legal counsel
- Active maintaining and enhancing Prime’s network of GPs / potential partners

**Monitoring / reporting**
- Contribute to the IT/operational set up by providing experience and insights to be reflected in reporting and monitoring tools to be on-boarded and timely go live
- Monitor portfolio and asset performance
- Contribute to producing regular reporting documents (at least on quarterly basis) using AXA IM Prime reporting tool and asset managers reporting tool to be shared with AXA IM Prime clients

**Client relationship, Fundraising**
- Contribute to the fundraising efforts alongside AXA IM Prime sales team through pitch preparation, performing research and contributing to newsletters
- Support active interaction with AXA and the private market COE in particular regarding investment performance, market views, investment committee preparation etc.

Your qualifications, experiences, knowledge and skills:

- _ Master's degree in Finance / Economics or similar qualification_
- Experience in the financial sector / asset management industry at similar institutions
- Deep knowledge and proven success over three to eight years in primary fund investing and co-investments with secondary transaction experience a plus
- Good knowledge of insurance companies’ investment constraints is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong investor and asset management mind-set with a strong “can do” mentality
- Willing to work as part of team and share success as a team effort
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for the opportunity to help shape and grow AXA IM Prime
- Ability to work under tight time constraints in a complex environment
- Insights and interest to anticipate future developments in the investment management industry
- Assertive and business solution/ outcome oriented while acting in a structured and focused way
- Good interpersonal / communication skills
