Senior Green Finance Private Equity Professional

**Key responsibilities**:
- Originate, implement, execute and negotiate on behalf of a fund platform equity investments in green impact funds and green direct investments
- Lead all aspects of the investment cycle from origination, initial eligibility screening, off
- and on-site due diligence to investment proposal drafting, presentation to senior management and independent investment committee, deal structuring, and portfolio company monitoring
- Provide deep expertise in understanding the green economy, impactful disruptive green technologies, the main value drivers in key sectors of the green economy and resulting investment opportunities
- Contribute to the development of the underlying green funds and direct investments
- Negotiate with potential investees, from formulating initial terms and conditions, to negotiating complex legal agreements
- Supervise financial analysis and modelling exercises, and support in developing talent in the team
- Engage in strategic dialogue with sector stakeholders, and continue to develop and deepen the company’s network of external contacts
- Support in future fund structuring, fund raising and representing the company at conferences, workshops, and other relevant events
**What we expect**:
- University degree in economics, finance, business administration or in green technologies
- Sufficient relevant work experience, preferably in Private Equity, Investment Banking, with relevant work experience in the green economy and related topics (e.g. climate change adaptation/mitigation, waste water, circular economy, energy transmission, resource efficiency, etc.)
- Deep knowledge about and commitment to impact investing and ESG
- Proven track record in complex project management and negotiating legal agreements
- Strong financial modelling experience, and solid understanding of valuation methodologies, and financial statements
- Team player and excellent leadership skills
- Profound client relationship management skills, strong team-orientation, coupled with an open and engaging communication style and inter-personal skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
