About our client Our client, an established player in the healthcare buy & build market, is looking to grow their team with an Investment Director. This position will be focused on executing a strong pipeline of potential targets in a fast-growing market with a lot of responsibility right from the start. You will drive the complete deal cycle, taking care of deal execution, due diligence and supporting with sourcing & negotiations. The location is flexible with a slight preference for Munich. What the job involves Planning, organization, and execution of M&A transactions Cross-functional coordination of all project participants including target companies, PE Deal Team members, internal departments as well as external consultants (M&A consultants, auditors, lawyers) Preparation and management of contract negotiations Preparation of investment cases including company valuations and presentation of decision papers to the Board, and the Investment Committee of the PE firm Working closely with investors and the management Who we are looking for Previous M&A experience from a M&A Boutique, Corporate M&A, Private Equity or Big 4, ideally with first healthcare exposure Strong academic background with successfully completed university studies in Economics, Finance or Business Administration Extensive practical experience in the execution of M&A transactions (due diligence, valuation, project management) Profound knowledge in business valuation, modelling of business cases and financial models Good knowledge of accounting/balancing as well as strong analytical thinking skills and strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently with a hands-on attitude Written and spoken fluency in German and English is a must #LI-MA1 You will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
