Desitin has particular expertise in the areas of epilepsy and Parkinson's disease and offers almost all of the anticonvulsants classified as essential by the WHO. **Vice President or Director, Head of Business Development (M/F/d)**:
Working time: Full-time

**Your role**:

- leading and managing the Business Development division. Reporting directly to the Managing Director (CEO) with the aim of expanding the global product portfolio in the strategic core indications
- analyzing, selecting and implementing new product opportunities (R&D, licensing, M&A and asset deals)
- development of the existing product portfolio
- excellent cross-functional collaboration
- preparing and conducting price negotiations and concluding contracts in line with the corporate strategy
- overseeing the project management for new products

**Your profile**:

- the ability to quickly understand and evaluate new products and markets
- relevant professional experience in the areas of BD, portfolio management, M&A, and R&D in the pharmaceutical industry
- a successfully completed degree in natural sciences or economics
- strategic foresight, great negotiating skills and an analytical mindset
- a positive, open-minded and assertive personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
- English/German language skills: at least C1-level (CEFRL)
- willingness to travel
