**Report to**:
Commercial Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
Cost Management (tenders analysis, effect cost control strategies, manage and monitor project budgets and costs)

Contract Administration & Management (contract review and negotiation, contract administration, including reviewing and approving contract variations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and manage contract disputes, claims and litigation).

Tendering & Procurement (oversee the procurement process, including the selection of suppliers and subcontractors, tender preparation, management and evaluation and post-tender negotiations)

Risk Management (identifying potential risks, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, reporting)

Cost Control and Reporting (responsible financial reporting, project cost and expenditure monitoring, reporting, forecasting, support decision-making and maintaining accurate project documentation)

Project Management (management, collaboration and support to all stakeholders to support the delivery of projects on time and within budget).

Stakeholders & general communication (assist with supplier agreement and sub-contractors management, client-liaison, clear transfer of project information, meetings, relationship-building).

**Preferred qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or a related field.

Professional membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), ASAQS or equivalent preferable, but not necessary.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in quantity surveying/ cost engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior role.

Knowledge of construction and engineering contracts.

Comprehensive experience with construction software preferable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of environmental and sustainability issues related to the energy sector.

Some Spanish language is preferable

**Work Environment**:
This role may require travel to project sites and client meetings and at times, cross-border travel.
