Industrial Services, Spare Parts & Best Value Country Sourcing covers 10% of this spend being present at 7 sites (plants) in 5 countries (Spain, Germany, France, Poland, Belgium).
**About the role**
- Lead procurement organization and activities at regional level for Maintenance & Repairs sub-category within the spend of Germany
- With the Category Management, develop and implement purchasing strategy for the sub-category
- Ensure that all site (plant) requirements for the sub-category are covered in due time with the best solution
- Work closely with internal customers in sites across the cluster to ensure effective strategic procurement and business continuity
- Lead a team of Buyers and directly control the results achieved
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead development and implementation of the strategy in Germany and assign priorities to sourcing projects
- Collect and challenge business needs with logistics teams and internal customers
- Responsible for strategic sourcing for categories with focus on TCO optimization. Deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets
- Define customer satisfaction KPIs and identify satisfaction issues
- Define supplier performance improvement actions and be accountable for realizing supplier performance optimization
- Participate in cross-functional teams and validates region specific PO decisions with internal customers
- Be accountable for deployment of global / regional contracts but also accountable for global / regional contracts availability in e-catalogue and for its re deployment and usage
- Perform spot buying when required
- Leads a team of Buyers in Germany and directly controls the results achieved
- Ensure business continuity during Procurement Transformation
- Participate (or delegate) in transversal working groups focused on back-office process standardization, and establishment of procedures / compliance
**Your profile**
You hold a master’s degree in Purchasing, Economics, Engineering or Supply Chain.
You have a Successful track record in Procurement with about 5 years of relevant procurement experience and people management experience.
You have a good knowledge of the local market.
As a genuine buyer, you have problem-solving and analytical skills and a good ease facing numbers.
You have a good technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems but also in project management and negotiation.
With a technical background, you are able to discuss on technical topics as well as implement and manage the change
You combine a strong personality/leadership and communication skills with an appetite for finding information on innovative industry.
Result and Customer oriented, you are able to work under deadline pressure.
On top of German, you are fluent in English. Any additional European language is appreciated.
