The »Roll-to-Roll Technology« department develops solutions for the series production of components for the hydrogen economy. These include proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells and electrolysers, the manufacturing costs of which are to be reduced to enable even faster market penetration and the associated widespread use.

As a student assistant, you will investigate production using a continuous process. In particular, coating and drying processes and their effect on the membrane will be investigated experimentally with the aim of reducing production costs.

**What you will do**
- Independent development and implementation of production technologies for the manufacture of catalyst coated membranes (CCMs)
- Planning and carrying out tests
- Conceptual design of production machines
- Procurement and assembly of R2R components and modules
- Independent estimation of parameter influences for target parameter identification

**What you bring to the table**
- Interest in new technologies and the reduction of global CO2 -emissions
- A high degree of initiative and problem-solving abilities as well as a responsible and independent way of working
- Good language skills in German and/or English
