The Prestige Beauty business at The NPD Group works with some of the most well-known companies in the world and key players from the Prestige Beauty industry. Are you passionate about the Beauty industry? Do you have an opinion on which companies are set for growth and which companies should be doing things differently? Our Prestige Beauty team in Düsseldorf is looking for an Insight Specialist, who will work closely with the Germany Beauty Commercial team and will be responsible for building relationships with our clients, providing them with value-added insights and driving revenue within our accounts.

This position is based in Düsseldorf, Germany and reports to Head of Germany Beauty.

Responsibilities include
- Collaborate with the Germany Beauty commercial team on the overall clients portfolio
- Learn about client’s business goals and objectives to for you to generate actionable and relevant insights
- Provide day-to-day tactical support to Account Managers utilizing market research data, answering questions, preparing and delivering data insights, presentations and workshops
- Present insights and result reports to clients, ensuring overall client satisfaction by proactively relating The NPD Group data and industry trends to business opportunities
- Provide actionable recommendations to client leadership teams to help them grow their business and gain market share
- Expand contact base within client teams to include a broader mix of end users

What we expect from you?
- You have an educational background in Business and Marketing, with 2 - 3 years of professional experience
- You have a good knowledge of Point-of-Sales Panel and/or Consumer Panel research. You must be able to analyse quantitative research and provide customer oriented insights
- You are able to conduct engaging and impactful presentations that deliver value to the client while telling a compelling story in a concise manner to a diverse audience
- With a collaborative approach to work, you are able to build solid relationships with German and European teams and have the ability to network in the professional and industry environment.
- You have a strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- You are a native German and speak and write English fluently
- You are available to travel for work (twice a month maximum)
- You’re comfortable with hybrid work environment
