Head of Process Engineering Compressors

Your role and responsibilities- Disciplinary and functional leadership of the global process engineering team
- Develop and industrialize state-of-the-art production processes according to product and customer requirements
- Promote the standardization of compressor production
- Implementation and improvement of process standards and guidelines
- Optimization of global machining and assembly of compressors
- Optimization of the existing production process
- Implementation of the segment strategy into practical work packages
- Coordination of capital expenditures within the compressor segment
- Coordination of capacity and supporting outsourcing activities within the compressor segment
- Support of the MSP costing process incl. tender preparation
- Industrialization of the NA eCompressor footprint & localization of inverter assembly in Europe and development of external processing capacities
- Management of (sub-)projects for organizational improvement
- Your skills and strengths- Successfully completed studies in the fields of economics or management or similar
- At least 10 years of experience in production and/or process engineering in the automotive industry
- Several years of disciplinary management experience
- Experience in problem solving and budget management
- Experience working with a global team
- Strong cultural awareness and experience working overseas
- Strong analytical and holistic thinking skills
- Strong communication and consulting skills
- Very good assertiveness
- Willingness to travel worldwide (50-60%)
- Experience with MS Office or other project management and quality software
- Sound knowledge of Lean and Kaizen principles
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
