**About the Job**:
We're looking for an experienced Head of Engineering (M/F/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and lead its Engineering strategies.

In your day-to-day work, you'll focus on leading the technical strategy and infrastructure as well as managing the development team.

Join our portfolio company: A German company focused on streamlining home and garden product shoppers' online shopping experience. A one-stop-shop market leader, the e-commerce platform offers 1M monthly users a full range of services.

**In this role, you'll**:

- Be responsible for the E-Com Tech landscape (Shop, PIM, ERP, DWH, Infrastructure etc.)
- Lead the development teams both technically and managerially (distributed across different product teams)
- Be responsible for the tech architecture
- Implement and manage the tech stack
- Hire in the start phase

**Your Profile**:

- 5+ years of experience in an E-Commerce environment
- 3+ years of experience in a tech leadership position (technical and team management)
- Strong experience in Fullstack development
- Experience with various e-commerce technologies (Shopware, Shopify, Commercetools, Spryker etc.)
- Hands-on mentality (stay close to the code)
- Fluency in German and English

Please note that we are looking for support in the **Hamburg **office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
