"Private Banking Reinvented" is the claim of the Munich-based FinTech start-up COMETUM. With alternative assets such as classic cars, art pieces and cryptocurrencies in its portfolio, the fully comprehensive investment offering comes to the smartphone of high net worth millennials. COMETUM is data-driven but finds more than just facts and figures in the traditional business of investing. The investor experiences a digital vernissage of honest and profitable investments through the app. Now you have the freedom to invest in a Ferrari F40 (built in 1987) or Picasso - securely via the blockchain. Of course, you can also trade your shares on COMETUM's secondary market. We are about to launch our platform and are looking for a skilled CTO to further drive the development of our platform and lead the team of developers. Tasks - You are a key player who will continue to drive our growth journey. You take on the challenge of making tough decisions and go the extra mile. - Leading and growing COMETUM’s SW development team - Contribute to corporate strategy - Work closely together with our product team and guide the development of new features - Manage technical debt and keep the SW stack up to date - Produce highly scalable, readable, maintainable, and performant front - and back-end components that are unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration - Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources **Requirements**: - Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in managing and growing software development teams - 5+ years of experience in working on SaaS platforms - Being able to inspire your team and communicate tech topics clearly to the business team as well as the development team - Experience in designing scalable systems - Ideally, you have experience in the following fields: - 1\. AWS + Serverless Framework - 2\. VueJS, Javascript, Typescript - 3\. Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence - 4\. Fintechs and/or Blockchain - You are fluent in German and English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience in a high-growth start-up in the banking sector and an understanding of the laws and regulations applicable in the industry are an advantage **Benefits**: - Start with a smaller team and grow it from there - The learning curve is not an empty phrase.
