**What you’ll do**

Extending our current portfolio, a central Key Management Service is planned as the next evolutionary step of SAP BTP. As part of a new multinational team, you can shape this next era from scratch. Following a cloud-native mindset, you will use cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes managed by SAP Gardener.

SAP aims to develop an Open Reference Architecture (ORA) for a secure and sustainable cloud-edge infrastructure that includes intelligent optimization methods for data transparency and security. This reference infrastructure, aspired by the EU IPCEI-CIS (Important Project of Common European Interest - Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services) program, shall be the basis for future software development and a prerequisite for a pan-European cloud edge infrastructure.

**What you bring**
- University degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar.
- Good skills in developing, particularly in Golang (preferred), Node.js, or being willing to learn Golang.
- Comprehensive experience with Kubernetes and container technology.
- Experience working in agile software development processes (Scrum).
- You work well independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- You shine with a positive attitude and have an open-minded, adaptable, and humble personality. You enjoy learning new things quickly, particularly new technologies, concepts, and tools.
- Fluent English language skills, both oral and written

The Security Control Plane team, part of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), holds global responsibilities across all business units and is committed to helping SAP development teams achieve their goals securely. As part of the Security Control Plane team, you'll get to work on a wide array of security technologies, shaping the very elements that define SAP's security landscape.

Please note that this position can be filled in other locations in Germany (e.g., Berlin/Dresden) as well.
