**Job ID 22~85**:
The Head of Digital Education Unit will establish a new Digital Education Unit to support the Jacobs University’s ambitious e-learning activities.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Establishing and Leading the Digital Education Uni at Jacobs University Bremen.
- Develop and coordinate the execution of technology-enhanced learning projects.
- Understand the university’s strategy and requirements in regard to e-learning and e-teaching and promote and guide the use of technology (e.g., run and organize trainings for faculty, share good practices in various formats).
- Be the point of contact for faculty and program-related departments to advise on pedagogic value of new technologies and to promote, develop and evaluate the impact of technology enhanced learning on the student learning experience.
- Share specialist e-learning skills and knowledge to technology-enhanced learning projects, e.g., by organizing pedagogical trainings.
- Take a lead role in university wide e-learning projects including identifying and evaluating e-tools, new approaches to e-learning and emerging notions of embedding e-learning in the academic context.
- Provide one-to-one and group support for academics seeking to develop e-learning approaches in teaching and to support research.
- Design support for students in using e-learning tools for effective study.
- Develop and deliver e-learning aspects of the HR department’s faculty development program (including workshops and seminars).
- Work in university committees.

**Your qualifications**:

- Experience in developing e-learning and e-teaching solutions.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in working at an institution of higher education would be appreciated.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and tasks
- Fluent in English, German would be appreciated
