You drive product development projects around Firestop & Fireprotection to the market. You lead inclusively an interdisciplinary team to success by ensuring speed, budget control and scope fulfilment.

**What does the role involve?**:
You are accountable for complex projects of the Business Unit Fire Protection. To fulfill the scope of the project you lead a large project team consisting of all core functions (supply, marketing, development, quality). Usually, the target of your teams projects is to develop a new and exciting firestop product and roll this out to a global market. By tracking and optimizing the project time and budget together with your team, you drive the project following the project management processes of HILTI. You are coordinating all project activities usually with free choice of solution and using the most important HILTI project management methods/programs (Jira, IBM Jazz (REQ ENG), etc.). Communicating the project progress in project relevant meetings like stand-ups and project steering meetings is essential for stakeholder buy-in and support. You ensure documentation of key documents, and you collect and deploy key learnings of current projects to increase performance of future projects.

- A master's degree in a field related to the job and at least 5 years relevant work experience in managing complex projects
- A high goal orientation and a high experience in financial control situations
- The willingness to lead project teams and communicate to all hierarchy levels at all times
- Readiness to travel internationally depending on project scope, usually 3-5 times per year
- Beneficial are project management certificates (e.g. PMP), knowledge in JIRA or IBM Jazz based Requirements Engineering
