VP Head of Engineering and Facilities Management - Germany and Austria

Based in the Hamburg Headquarters (Germany), this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Engineering and facilities manager to take over a challenging role in a dynamic environment and bringing the function to the next level. You will support the company growth and integration of new sites in accordance with the global company strategy and in a changing and growing environment. Reporting to the Head of Global ENG&FM, your responsibilities will include among others:
Your key responsibilities:

- Lead the harmonization of the German & Austrian ENG&FM processes, organization and systems to the global ones and contribute to the global ENG&FM governance development.
- Lead the German & Austrian ENG&FM teams by providing them with guidance and support in managing their daily business and specific initiatives to provide all the expected services to our facilities,
- Lead the ENG&FM projects management team ensuring projects delivery according to the schedule, quality and planned costs,
- Guide the ENG&FM teams of every German and Austrian site in developing the ONE Maintenance program accordingly with the global principles and guidelines,

Your ideal qualification:

- Master degree in engineering or similar
- Experience in managing the maintenance of laboratories, laboratories equipment and/or production equipment, ideally in a GxP regulated environment
- Experience in managing complex projects like new buildings, lab/production site expansions and/or modification and deep refurbishment of existing facilities.
- Well-organized, accurate and able to coordinate activities according to the demands of the role and analytic work methodology. Strong project management skills
- Able to work as part of a dynamic team and on your own, as required
- Travel between German and Austrian sites as needed
- Good communication and presentation skills in English
