CFO within a revolutionary capital markets company.

The company will be the first to bring a regulated digital Exchange to life. A newly founded business that will enjoy significant growth and has recently attracted significant institutional investment is seeking a CFO to join the business as it focuses on the next stage in its growth journey.

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will lead in evolving and driving the Finance function to facilitate the company's future growth plans, deliver a best-in-class Finance function and partner with the CEO and Senior Management Team to execute the strategic plan.

Tasks
- An unwavering entrepreneurial drive with a passion for building and scaling successful companies
- Being an equal member of a three-member Management Board (COO/CEO/CFO)
- Leading the core functions in Finance, other functions such as Legal, IT, HR, Risk Management, and Reporting could also be included.
- Assume ultimate responsibility for the smooth delivery of financial control, business planning, tax, audit, reporting and compliance.
- Develop and implement commercial frameworks and tools to underpin the development of the business and allow it to realise strategic growth opportunities through the next cycle.
- Collaborate in developing a corporate strategy and annual business plans to ensure the group’s financial objectives are met as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Complete due diligence and other business evaluation activities supporting future M&A activity.
- Support the full integration of the businesses into the wider Group Finance and operational teams.
- Excellent English and Fluent German are a must.

**Requirements**:

- Strong academic/professional background in Finance
- Experience in a high-growth environment, ideally within a B2B SAAS, Fintech or regulated financial company
- Understanding how stock exchanges work is a plus
- Since this is a BAFIN/ESMA regulated business, prior experience in a regulated environment and with regulators is a significant advantage to matching fit and proper criteria of BAFIN
- Knowledge in legal, finance, accounting, financial modelling, and compliance
- Strong analytical and strategic skills with an eye for details
- Experience in project business is a must
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high-energy level and a hands-on mentality
- High interest in Distributed Ledger Technology and the disruptiveness that it goes along within the (financial) industry
