The Company

A high-growth renewable energy developer and IPP operating across 3 continents, supported by leading global institutional investors and an ambitious international expansion plan. The Role

The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and board, directing the company's global financial agenda with an emphasis on capital raising, investment strategy, and international M&A. This role requires a leader who can scale a fast-expanding platform, steer complex financial negotiations, and strengthen the company's global institutional relationships.

  • Leading equity and debt fundraising across global and regional markets
  • Steering major M&A transactions and strategic investments to accelerate portfolio growth
  • Managing relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions at the highest level
  • Overseeing financial structuring, valuation, and negotiation of large-scale transactions
  • Delivering clear strategic recommendations to the CEO and board
  • Positioning the company for sustained, long-term growth across MENA and further international markets

Requirements:

  • 15+ years in investment banking, project finance, or corporate finance with a strong track record in capital raising and M&A
  • Demonstrated leadership in high-growth energy, infrastructure, or adjacent sectors
  • Deep expertise in structuring, valuation, and financial negotiations for major transactions
  • An established network across institutional investors, banks, and capital providers
  • Experience scaling finance functions within rapidly growing businesses
  • Based in Germany or willing to be based there
