WHAT WE OFFER
Procurement Solutions & Intelligence (PS&I) is a global function responsible for all relevant strategy, governance and sustainability-related topics within the Procurement organization. PS&I supports the CPO, Procurement management and all procuring categories in areas such as Digitalization, Reporting, Processes, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Vendor Finance, Capability Building, Sustainability.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will work on strategic sustainable procurement topics for Covestro, especially in the area of human rights and environment- As a full team member (M/F/d), you will support our PS&I team and will have the chance to independently supervise your own sub-projects- During your internship, you will work independently on defined projects and tasks, such as the evaluation of the sustainability performance of our suppliers, analyzes of risks in raw material supply chains and the implementation of environmental and human rights due diligence.- You will participate in cross-company and cross-industry sustainability initiatives- Your tasks will include the execution of research & analysis, project management, creating management presentations, training and communication materials, etc.- Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to gain further experience in other PS&I by supporting other projects, mainly in communications and related platforms
WHAT YOU OFFER- You are a master student (M/F/d) in sustainability management, Human Rights management or a comparable course of study- Ideally, you have gained first practical experience, e.g. through other internships-
- For your assignment at Covestro you will have a high willingness to learn and a rapid comprehension- A high self-motivated, structured, communicative and independent way of working will distinguish you- You have good project management capabilities and you enjoy working in a team- Very good English skills, written and spoken, round off your profile, German is a benefit
