Our investment team operates in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, constantly evaluating new deals, supporting portfolio companies, and benchmarking investment opportunities. To optimize our processes and decision-making, we are looking for a talented Intern or Working Student to join our team to help us build internal tools for data aggregation and knowledge sharing.

As an Intern/Working Student, you will work closely with our investment team to define, design, and develop internal tools that will centralize data and knowledge, improving the accessibility and usability of critical information across the organization. You will help transition data from multiple sources (such as Excel) into a more cohesive system, enabling the investment team to make more informed decisions, track investments, and benchmark new deals. This role will provide hands-on experience in data visualization, tool development, and workflow automation within VC operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with investment and operations (e.g. Finance, Legal, Compliance, ESG, Talent) teams to understand data needs and workflows.
- Define and design internal tools and dashboards to centralize and aggregate knowledge and data (currently stored in Excel and other formats).
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI or similar tools to visualize data and support decision-making.
- Assist in migrating existing data into more efficient systems and tools.
- Improve the data tracking and management processes for sourcing and tracking target investments.
- Assist in benchmarking investment opportunities by building tailored dashboards to compare deal flow, valuations, performance, and other metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across all internal tools.
- Support ad hoc requests from the investment team for data analysis, insights, and reporting.

Strong Excel Skills**: Must be proficient in Excel, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- ** PowerBI or Data Visualization Expertise**: Experience designing and building interactive dashboards using PowerBI or similar tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- ** Data Storytelling**: Ability to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations for the team.
- ** Analytical Mindset**: Comfortable working with complex datasets and extracting meaningful insights to guide decision-making.
- ** Detail-oriented**: Ensure the highest accuracy and consistency in data aggregation and reporting.
- ** Automation Skills** (Optional but a plus): Knowledge of Pyhton, or VBA for automating workflows and data processing.
- ** Curiosity and Interest in Venture Capital**: A strong interest in venture capital, startups, and finance is highly desirable.
