Director, Payroll

We are looking for a** **Director, Payroll (all genders)** **to join us on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the payroll function within the organization. Your primary goal will be to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation while adhering to relevant laws and regulations. This is a critical leadership position that requires excellent organizational, analytical, and team management skills.

**Your mission**:

- ** Payroll Management**:

- Review and approve payroll data to verify accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate calculation and processing of employee salaries, bonuses, commissions, and benefits.
- Oversee the develop and implement efficient payroll procedures to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- ** Compliance and Legal Requirements**:

- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws, tax regulations, and relevant employment legislation to ensure compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with legal and finance departments to address any payroll-related compliance issues promptly.
- ** Team Leadership and Development**:

- Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to the payroll team, enabling their professional growth and development.
- ** Vendor Management**:

- Develop our strategy towards our partners and vendors.
- Ensure proper management of vendor relationships with external payroll vendors and service providers.
- ** Employee Support**:

- Develop best practice addressing employee inquiries related to payroll matters and provide excellent customer service to all employees.
- Have experience in global needs for local payroll (ie expat, hybrid workers, global mobility at large).

**Your heroic skills**:

- Proven experience in payroll management, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPP) is a plus or comparable professional education.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Prior experience with payroll systems and software implementation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with employees, vendors, and management.
