WE ARE LOOKING FOR A
Research Assistant (M/F/div)
The position is open immediately and initially funded for two years.
**YOUR TASKS**:
The Department of Biological Physics currently houses state-of-the-art microscopes: including PALM/STORM, SIM, STED, Min-flux, and Lattice light-sheet microscopes.
- Provide regular maintenance of commercial and home built microscopies
- Independent implementation of projects and documentation
- Supporting researchers in their imaging experiments
- Work independently to image samples with Super-resolution microscopy and analyze images with Fiji/ImageJ and other software.
- Develop innovative solutions for imaging experiments

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor degree in physics or related fields
- Experience in photonics is required
- Prior experiences with mammalian tissue culture, labeling, and tracking endogenous single RNA and proteins are re-quired.
- Strong familiarity with Super-resolution microscopy.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Fluency in both German and English languages.
