**Your Role**

As a Payment & Collection Specialist, you will be part of the debtor accounting team covering the reconciliation of our debtor payments and directly impacting our cash collection performance. Apart from that, our payment & collection specialist works very closely with Customer Success as well as our Remarketing Team to follow up with customers and resolve open payments or billing issues.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Payment Reconciliation: Ensure we always know who owes us what to make sure we can follow up with the right customers and report delinquency rates correctly
- Dunning / Collection process: Follow up on overdue payments & chase customers for payment if required. Coordinate handover & manage collection process with PairFinance (debt collection agency)
- Billing Support: Be the central expert of resolving billing-related issues with customers across the business (B2B, B2C Subscriptions & Remarketing Partners).
- Continuous Improvement: For all these processes, you continuously provide feedback & make suggestions to improve. Doing so, you also work with tech teams supporting you with tooling & automation.

**Your Profile**:

- You have already gained significant experience in customer support or customer consultation, preferably in a fast-growing environment.
- Experience in complaint management and/or vehicle coordination is advantageous.
- You enjoy providing customer service, both over the phone and in writing.
- With your strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with the needs and concerns of customers, you can find good solutions even in difficult situations.
- You are eager to learn about new processes & take on responsibility.
- You have strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership to resolve edge cases manually if required
- You have excellent German language skills at a native level, both in speaking and writing. Additionally, you can communicate effectively in English.
