**Role Overview**:
The Graphic Designer/Artworker will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of AsiaBerlin Forum. This position offers the opportunity to create engaging designs for both print and digital platforms with focus on Video Creation, for marketing campaigns, event promotions, and social media initiatives. With responsibilities ranging from graphic design and motion design to video production, this role requires creativity, technical expertise, and strong organisational skills. You will work closely with a dynamic team to elevate AsiaBerlin Forum’s visual storytelling across diverse channels.

**About AsiaBerlin Forum e.V. (ABF)**:
ABF is a Berlin-based platform dedicated to fostering communication and collaboration between Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. As the driving force behind Europe’s biggest Asia-focused startup event, the AsiaBerlin Summit (ABS), ABF connects entrepreneurs, investors, and policy makers to support global innovation and growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Graphic Design and Visual Storytelling**
- Create compelling visuals for marketing campaigns, event promotions, and social media posts.
- Design layouts, infographics, and other graphic elements to support AsiaBerlin’s branding.

**2. Motion Graphics and Video Production**
- Produce dynamic motion graphics and animations for promotional videos and presentations.
- Edit and optimise video footage for use across digital channels, ensuring quality and relevance.

**3. Print and Digital Materials**
- Design high-quality print materials, including banners, brochures, posters, and event signage.
- Ensure all materials adhere to AsiaBerlin Forum’s branding and visual guidelines.

**4. Collaboration**
- Work closely with communications, marketing, and event teams to align visuals with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with external vendors or partners when necessary for production needs.

**5. Project Management**
- Handle multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

**6. Innovation and Trend Monitoring**

Stay informed about the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in motion graphics and video work including.
- Basic knowledge of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Fluency in German is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
