**What we are looking for**

Experienced strategist able to strategically frame the development of a multi-GW pipeline of renewables business via organic growth and via partnerships/M&A. Responsibilities/accountabilities include:

- Lead the Strategy and Market Positioning team responsible to create the long term renewables strategy and business model for Uniper as well as the underlying long term business plan to create investment opportunities of more than 1 GW p.a.
- Drive the business strategy for new markets and technologies, namely hybrid (wind and solar) generation, on-site battery storage solutions, Agri-PV, Skywind and Offshore-Wind
- Position Uniper Renewables in the market, towards targeted employees, renewables developers, land owners, corporate offtakers and asset investors
- Setting up and continuously improving the business structurally (processes, policies, governance) including the development and implementation of the structure, processes and steering principles as well as managing the interfaces to Uniper group functions
- Creating a compliance system and culture within Renewables
- Development, implementation and controlling of KPIs, performance management of the Renewables business and other operational excellence instruments
- Market monitoring, long term development and analysis
- Optimal cooperation within the Renewables team, consisting of developers, engineers, project, contract and offtake managers, market and strategy analysts as well as a network of external partners
- Reports to the Senior Vice President - Asset Commercialization and Strategy

**Who we are seeking**
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or comparable studies
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in management positions, ideally in strategy/corporate development
- Deep understanding of the renewable energy market, with a focus on utility scale wind and solar-PV
- Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of international work experience and appreciation of cultural differences
- High mobility/willingness to travel internationally
- Business fluency in English
