DOUGLAS is not just Europe’s leading omnichannel provider of premium beauty but also a pioneer in retail media. Through _Douglas Marketing Solutions_, we enable brands to be present directly at the digital point of sale—whether via our online shops, apps, or in-store. Leveraging our extensive first-party data, we deliver precise, data-driven advertising campaigns that help acquire new customers and strengthen brand loyalty. Retail media at Douglas merges e-commerce with marketing to create powerful, measurable advertising solutions. By combining on-site and off-site campaigns, we drive impactful brand visibility and ensure a seamless integration of marketing efforts. Our vision is to actively shape the future of advertising and offer our partners close, personalized support throughout their journey.
- Lead and inspire the international Retail Media sales team to meet ambitious revenue targets by setting a strong example through impactful presentations, complex contract negotiations, and establishing high-value partnerships.
- Drive the strategic development and expansion of data-driven marketing products such as DMPs, CDPs, and DSP integrations, ensuring their successful market adoption.
- Build and nurture a high-performing sales team through coaching, development plans, and regular feedback, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous growth.
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies, empowering the team to effectively address client needs and remain competitive.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Client Services and Campaign Management to ensure the successful implementation of client campaigns.
- Establish thought leadership through office visits, trade shows, and virtual events, positioning the team as recognized experts in the field.
- Ensure the effective use of Salesforce CRM for pipeline management, progress tracking, and accurate sales reporting.
**YOUR SKILLS**
- At least 6 years of sales experience with 4+ years in retail media or digital advertising, ideally on the publisher side, with a proven track record.
- Strong understanding of first-party data integration and orchestration across various client platforms.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and analytical thinking to translate complex market needs into focused sales strategies.
- Experience in coordinating and leading international teams is highly desirable.
