Senior Financial Accountant

Overview:

As Senior Financial Accountant**,** you will serve as a trusted Business Partner to our business management team to increase efficiency and to encourage high performance culture. Our Finance team is a professional, yet comfortable group to work in. You will utilise your expertise in strategic projects and execute them with the support from the team. **Responsibilities**:

- Develop European GAAP Accounting Center of Excellence
- Responsibility for selected accounting and month-end close activities for all or a group of entities in Europe
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely information flow in both directions
- Drive harmonization of European Accounting Processes
- Drive efficient GAAP to STAT process for Europe

Qualifications:
**To be successful in this role, you should bring along**:

- A university degree in Accounting or Business Studies or equivalent; additional Accounting or Tax qualification would be advantageous
- Professional experience in a BIG 10 Audit Firm or equivalent role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting rules, demonstrated both in theory and practice.
- International and diverse environment experience
- Work experience in matrix organization with internal controls
- MS Office Package, excellent Excel skills
- SAP and Blackline experience would be advantageous
