Senior Data Scientist

In this role, you help us to identify business value drivers (challenges & opportunities) through development of efficient and accurate analytical models that mimic business decisions. You incorporate them into analytical data products or tools with the support of a cross functional team.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the development of data-driven solutions that drive business value. You will work within cross-functional team to identify business opportunities, develop hypotheses, design experiments, analyze results, and communicate insights to stakeholders. By developing a solution you will make sure that the effective solution strategy is selected and the final product is deployed in production. You will also mentor and guide junior data scientists and provide technical leadership across the organization.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Design and develop data-driven solutions to address complex business problems
- Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models to analyze data, provide actionable insights, capture patterns in data and produce robust predicitions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions
- Design experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the effectiveness of solutions
- Analyze data and communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists to ensure high-quality work and continuous development
- Provide technical leadership across the organization, including guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science, and share knowledge with the team

**Personal skills and professional experience**:

- MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electronics or MS in Computer Applications, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics or related technical discipline
- 5+ y experience in a statistical and/or data science / business intelligence role, preferably in a digital unit of a start-up, digital consultancy, tech company and/or a pharma
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Power BI
- Proven experience in developing and bringing ML models to production
- Experience in using collaborative and verion control tools like Git in a productive environment
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior data scientists
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to identify innovative solutions to complex business problems
- Experience in a specific industry or domain, such as healthcare, finance, or e-commerce, is also a plus
- Experience in using Databricks, Azure ML platforms, pySpark or MLflow is a plus
- Excellent language proficiency in English (at least C1)
- International work experience
