Germany is a key focus market with a large untapped potential in the solar rooftop market. We see strong market drivers which create a solid and financeable business model for rooftop projects in the coming years. We foresee a rapid build-out of the German project development and project management teams. Our German head office is in Düsseldorf and hybrid working is well incorporated within the team.

**The job**
As a working student, you support the German team. This is a multidisciplinary team with commercial, financial, legal, and technical disciplines that work together during the project development phase of new solar-PV projects from start to financial close. As a Working Student you will work on financial models and business case assessments, and together with the team structure bankable business cases. You will be assigned a buddy system who will coach you and provides reviews. Functionally, you report to the central Project Finance team in Amsterdam.

**Your responsibilities**
- Financial analyses: support the German team in the financial feasibility of commercial offerings and financial products. Review and update financial models for relevant projects based on market developments.
- General Support: support the Senior Associate Project Finance Germany during the structuring of new credit facilities, increases of credit facility limits, waiver requests, or modifications.
- Bankability review: together with the Senior Associate, you make sure that the structured business cases are bankable
- Prepare utilization requests: monitor the document flow and manage the dataroom for utilization request.

**This is you**
- You are a student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Industrial Engineering (“Wirtschaftswissenschaften”). We also welcome students in other (related) fields that are passionate about renewable energies and structured finance
- Your friends would describe you as assertive, analytical, and someone that takes charge of their own work
- Fluent in German and English
- Ideally you have previous work-experience and feel comfortable working in Microsoft Excel
- You are eager to learn financial modelling and/or would like to improve your skills
- You can summarize your key findings and report this to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior decision-makers.
