**Ideally, this role is based in Berlin, however, a remote contract within Germany is also possible.**

**The Role**

We are growing our finance team and are now looking for an **Accountant (x/f/m) **to join our exciting growth journey and help us streamline and improve our current accounting processes. The successful person will have responsibility for supporting all parts of our financial reporting and processes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Complete all month-end related tasks such as _(but not limited to)_ P&L and B/S Analysis and reconciliation (including commentary)
- Daily & monthly credit card and bank postings including reconciliation _(including multi-currency accounts)_
- Implement and improve existing processes
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and tax filings
- Support external audit by preparing reconciliations and supporting documents as well as explanations for auditors

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
- Sound knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting policies and European tax rules
- 2+ years of accounting either within an accounting practice environment or within a commercial setting.
- Ecommerce or manufacturing related experience is preferred
- Fluent German is a requirement
