The accounting team at Seven Senders aims at providing the basis for all relevant finance and accounting processes for a truly data-driven company. You will work at and manage our financial core and be an active business partner to our fast-growing organization. In your role as a Financial Accountant (f/m/x), you will help us to get to the next level in terms of compliant, robust, and safe financial processes. You will also take ownership for relevant finance processes and will closely collaborate with the Invoicing and Controlling teams. **The essence of your role** - Execute on daily operational accounting tasks (mainly AP) and become integrated into the existing team of 10 (and growing) accountants - Review employee travel expenses, register incoming invoices and review AP sub ledger for completeness and accuracy - Support and enhance our Month End Closing (MEC), including necessary reclassifications, and Year-End Closing (YEC) process - Actively support our key strategic financial initiatives, including further enhancement of tools and processes, IFRS conversion, and the creation of a group accounting structure - Independently drive Quality Assurance activities to improve data and processing quality **This is what you need to succeed** - At least >3 years experience in Finance & Accounting - Proven experiences and in-depth knowledge of local GAAP (HGB), especially travel expense and VAT regulations - Sound working experience in agile and dynamic environments - Good communication skills - Good command of English in speaking and writing **Optional** - Previous experience in e-commerce or logistics - Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central BC365) - Understanding of German documents **7 reasons to join Seven Senders** - **Flexibility**:At the moment, we are fully remote, but from September this year, we're hoping to excite you with our new brand office, flexible remote-office set-up, and flexible working hours.
