- Your responsibilities and tasks:
At GEA Digital, we drive the digital business innovation of GEA - one of the world's largest suppliers of process technology for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industry. As a corporate start-up within GEA, our GEA Digital Hub consists of around 30 passionate digital experts who collaborate across all divisions to develop GEA-wide platforms, digital services, and strategies. Within this, our Digital Business Development Team of eight plays a crucial role in identifying new opportunities, exploring digital business models, driving customer-focused solutions and enhance our customer experience.

What you’ll do and learn:

- Turn Data into Insights - Work extensively with tools like Excel, Power BI, and PowerApps to build meaningful reports, dashboards, and KPIs that drive digital business development
- Drive Digital Innovation - Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to discover new business & growth opportunities
- Shape Future Business Models - Assist in the development of digital strategies, business models, and innovative frameworks for customer-facing digital solutions
- Create High-Impact Presentations - Develop compelling and engaging content for internal and external stakeholders, including guidelines, training materials, and strategic presentations
- Facilitate Innovation - Support the preparation, execution and follow up of interdisciplinary workshops, community events, and other meetings
- Engage with GEA’s global network - Gather insights and promote collaboration across teams to shape the future of digital business and innovation

Your profile and qualifications:
What you bring:

- Enrolled student (M/F/d) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field with a focus on Digital or Innovation
- Passion for Digitalization, Innovation and Business Strategy - You’re excited about how technology is reshaping machine engineering industries
- Strong analytical mindset and a passion for numbers - You feel comfortable working with data, spotting trends & generating insights
- Proactivity, Team spirit, and Enthusiasm - You bring fresh ideas, an open-mind, and a strong sense of collaboration to the table
- Strong communication skills in German and English as well as proficiency in MS Office 365 are beneficial, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps, and Power BI - You are able to explain complex ideas in an easy-to-understand way
