For our **Biopharmaceutical** **Product Development department in Marburg **we are looking for an

**Intern Viral Vector Process Development (M/F/d) - Downstream Development**:
**Start: Asap; Duration: 6 months**

**Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Performing experimental work including data analysis and communicating results to manager or project team in form of a report or a presentation
- Operation of complex devices and processing/ preparation of raw data
- Collection, preparation, and distribution of samples/data in coordination with other departments
- Creation and maintenance of records within internal documentation systems
- Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment in cooperation with internal or external service providers

**Experience in the following areas is an advantage**:

- Purification of biological entities such as proteins or viruses using chromatography
- Experience with tangential flow filtration
- Interest in process automation and data analysis

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- A University Degree in a relevant field of Science (e.g. Bachelor of Science or higher in biochemistry, bioprocess engineering or similar)
- Very good spoken and written English
