**Your role**:
In this challenging role, you will be responsible for the overall planning and development of first-class planning processes in conjunction with the functional interfaces throughout the distribution center at our production site in Barleben.

**This role is available for a 24-month contract (extension possible).**

**Your area of responsibility**:

- You provide end to end planning guidance to the distribution center functions to ensure key performance indicators (above) are met
- You lead the distribution center planning process and effectively partners with the stakeholders to ensure there are effective work plans to meet the boxcount volume requirements
- You are responsible for overall planning while developing best-in-class planning processes and interfaces across the distribution center
- You develop and/or improve Intralogistics and Production planning tools, rituals, and standards so as to achieve targets
- Develop metrics to increase transparency on planning processes as well as ensure the impact on execution (adherence to plan)
- You are defining planning process in a manner that allows decision making for the mid-term
- You work cross-functionally to analyze, review and align planning activities across distribution center functions
- You link planning procedures with operations execution, and evaluate and troubleshoot when plan is not followed Partner with the main distribution center stakeholders to define, set up, and improve planning process
- You design and/or improve existing tools related to the planning process
- You align with key stakeholders on the required input to improve the overall planning process
- You define level of detail and dynamism of information required for planning activities and align/ensure the adequate stakeholders provide such
- You review and modify routines and rituals to include communication and alignment across functions

**Your profile**:

- You have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or similar field
- You have already gained at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role in supply chain environment, preferably in Distribution Center Operations
- You are data-driven with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or BI Tools
- You have developed stakeholder management, communication, and organization skills
- You are number-driven and have a very good analytical understanding
- You work independently, structured and conscientiously
