Your meticulous attention to detail and passion for efficiency are about to make mealtime magic happen As Head of Kitting & Ice Insertion at HelloFresh Barleben, you'll lead a dynamic team responsible for the precise assembly of meal components and the strategic insertion of ice packs for optimal freshness. With your leadership, problem-solving skills, and commitment to continuous improvement, you'll ensure this vital production stage runs seamlessly, delighting customers with each impeccably prepared HelloFresh meal

This role is based in Barleben and reporting into Site Lead
What you’ll do
- Lead, develop and nurture a team from multiple departments
- Orchestrate the efficient and accurate assembly of meal components, implementing optimized processes and minimizing waste
- Analyse kitting and ice insertion data to identify improvement areas and implement data-driven solutions
- Collaborate with the inventory team to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of kitting components and ice packs
- Create KPI’s that improve performance, and create robust ways of improving
- Collaboration with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment, ideally with exposure to kitting and/or food handling processes
- Proven track record of optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving production line efficiency
- Enjoy analysing data to identify trends, predict challenges, and make data-driven decisions
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across departments
- A long-term mindset committed to business impact
- Fluent German & English
