Head of Finance

As Fraugster’s Head of Finance, you will have the opportunity to work closely with its founders and executives on strategic initiatives such as fundraising, international expansion, scaling the business and developing strategic relationships. Additionally, together with your team, you will manage all accounting functions including month-end close, financial consolidations, annual audit, tax, payroll, A/P and A/R. The Head of Finance will report directly to the CFO. How will you contribute to our mission? - Working alongside the management team on all key commercial and strategic initiatives - Supporting the executive team and board in planning for and driving the growth of Fraugster, both within Europe, LATAM and the US - Lead, enable and develop the finance team with mentorship, performance reviews and 1n1's - Taking responsibility for all day-to-day aspects of the Finance function, including: \-Directing all aspects of accounting operations and payments \-Management, investor and statutory reporting \-Maintaining robust and scalable accounting and reporting systems and controls \-FP&A, revenue and cash flow forecasting, cost controlling \-Operational Finance (esp. chargeback reconciliations and disbursements) - Developing appropriate financial KPIs to drive business performance - Performing company secretarial responsibilities To be successful at this position, we think you should have/be: - Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred - Experienced in financial management with a solid finance expertise - Accounting knowledge - Proficient in the HGB accounting standard - Leadership experience, preferably in a startup or consulting environment - Experienced in fundraising - Strong problem solving mindset - an ability to deal with ambiguity and high growth - Excellent communication skills: listening, verbal and written - Hands-on approach: (1) internally with the team, systems and processes, and (2) externally with customers/partners/decision-makers.
