Head of Communications

Team

As Head of Communications, you will be responsible for all external communications at Raisin, one of the world's leading fintechs. Communication is very important to us, so you will report directly to the management and will lead a team of three to four experienced colleagues.

Your close work with the management team will include the support of teams in Europe and the USA, as well as subsidiaries such as Raisin Bank, on their communications.

Your Responsibilities
- Developing communication formats and PR campaigns for our German and international platforms and subsidiaries.
- Systematically expanding our network and maintaining contact to the most important (business) journalists and consumer advocates in Germany and Europe.
- Creating and editing press releases, guest articles, interviews and other texts for external communication.
- Content-related development of surveys as well as of research pieces and corresponding communication formats on topics relating to saving, asset accumulation, retirement/pension, bank treasury, BaaS, etc.
- Positioning executives and building thought leadership on the management team.
- Organising and implementing press conferences, PR events and participation in relevant industry conferences.
- Advice and support for international teams to optimize their PR activities (e.g. USA, UK, Spain, Netherlands, France).
- Supporting internal communication in storytelling and development of communication formats.
- Monitoring, analysis and evaluation of communication activities and results.
- Supervision of external partners (e.g. agencies) and internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing).
- Leading and developing the communication team and proactive engagement and brainstorming with team members from other departments.

Your Profile
- Completed degree in communication or media studies, business administration, journalism or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a leading journalistic medium or on the agency or company side (focus on financial topics or companies is an advantage).
- Experience in leading teams.
- In-depth experience in campaign and project management.
- Experience in a strategic position is desirable.
- Strong in communication and an eloquent writer.
- Fluent German and English, additional language skills are an advantage.
- Good networking and organizational talent, an existing network with relevant media and business journalists is an advantage.
- Analytical and conceptual strength as well as creativity in finding solutions.
- Interest and ideally initial experience in the European FinTech environment would be an advantage.
- Motivated, independent and goal-oriented working style.
- High customer and team focus.
