Our solutions include on-demand transportation for children with special needs, improved transit offerings for senior citizens, new mobility services for people with disabilities, reduction of congestion at work sites, and the improvement of public transit between suburban areas and city centers.

As a **Partnerships Principal**, you’ll be a significant contributor to building our business in the DACH region. You will take full ownership of your assigned market and develop a pipeline of opportunities for Via to deploy our technology into. Key stakeholders will be the buyers and operators of transportation - local authorities, private operators, private corporations - anyone who you feel could benefit from Via’s technology as a way of creating more compelling, efficient, and sustainable transportation. You will secure engagement with each key stakeholder and successfully make the case for how Via’s broad technology stack could work in their particular context and meet their specific challenges. You will be responsible for the full business development cycle, from opportunity identification to contracting. Through this process you’ll become an expert on the Via platform and will partner cross-functionally with teams across the business to drive product and operational improvements.

**What You'll Do**
- Work proactively to identify new and prospective partners in your territory: you’ll build meaningful and durable revenue-generating relationships with key stakeholders from a variety of verticals, including various government agencies. You’ll lead execution and strategy for full-cycle Sales efforts across your territory, working to make transit better for your community and your region’s communities. This is a quota-carrying role.
- Strategically navigate your market’s unique buying landscape; you’ll research, roadmap, and use your strong analytical skills to build compelling, data-driven business cases for our platform.
- Act as a thought partner to prospective clients; you’ll educate, consult, and work strategically to develop regional transit plans and find funding mechanisms within your market.
- Champion our mission and technology, acting as the “face of Via” in your region by leading local marketing campaigns, speaking at conferences, and providing consistent thought leadership in the mobility space.
- Establish revenue-generating partnerships with a diverse group of prospective clients, from elected officials to private-sector business leaders, and demonstrate our value proposition across a range of verticals.
- Lead category and industry mapping for your region to understand relevant market, product, and pricing trends, and turning key insights into actionable recommendations for growth strategy.

**Who You Are**:
We’re not necessarily looking for someone with extensive experience in transport/mobility, but you do need to be passionate about the sector. Specifically:

- Fluency in German and English
- 5+ years of experience in client-facing roles (e.g., strategy consulting, key account management, strategic partnerships), preferably in fast-paced, product-driven environments with a proactive consultative sales approach
- Expertise in prospecting, cross-selling, and developing relationships with senior level officials and executives
- An excellent written and verbal communicator; whether in customer conversations, product presentations, or written proposals
- Commercial intuition and solid judgment; you’re not deterred by setbacks and enjoy the process of building high-value relationships over time; you know when to push and when to yield in maximizing the value of a potential deal
- Comfortable with traveling up to 25% of your time
- Bachelor's degree
