**Your Role**
- You are in charge of shaping the Group-wide procurement strategy on freight services for road, sea and air transport as well as for warehousing service
- You drive regular business reviews with the global and regional suppliers and logistics team
- In collaboration with the global logistics team, you define the selection criteria and pre-requisites for all tenders and establish a subsequent review process
- You establish the global strategic relationship with key suppliers in the areas of freight, warehousing and logistics equipment
- You develop a metric driven SRM program with our key suppliers to leverage their scale in the best interests of the DoehlerGroup
- As part of your daily business you are responsible for procuring freight and warehousing services as well as coordinating the sourcing activities across the global organization
- You like to pull all the strings to coordinate logistics service providers, monitor and arrange the optimal freight and storage costs while matching our quality specifications and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Together with your team you develop contracts, guidelines and standards throughout the logistics area and drive digitalization forward
- Due to your hands-on personality you drive the optimization of the logistics network and the implementation of supplier quality management system forward - from the idea to the review
**Your Profile**
- You have completed at minimum a bachelor's degree and gained at least 8-10 years of professional experience in freight and / or logistics sourcing in a global matrix environment
- You have gained some experience in managing and developing people
- You convince with your entrepreneurial and hands-on personality
- You are highly respected for your analytical way of thinking, determination and well-developed negotiation skills
- As a strong team player with well-developed interpersonal skills it is easy for you to build positive working relationships
- In a dynamic and ever-changing surrounding, you are able to manage change as well as multiple priorities
- You use MS Office and SAP S4 Hana on daily basis, experience with Ariba is beneficial
- Flexibility for occasional international travel completes your profile
- You are fluent in English and German, additional languages are welcome
