The Procurement Process Specialist plays an integral role in setting up the Global process for Source to Pay process within Procurement organization and will be affiliated as an SAP Subject Matter Expert for Source to Pay. The successful holder of the position will have a deep understanding of the procurement function, the ability to collaborate with a diverse global team, and hold prior experience in procurement.
You will be part of a team who drives a business transformation program which shapes the future HBK.
Primary Responsibilities.
You will work closely with the Global Process Owner (GPO) of the Source to Pay process and the other GPOs to define, Implement & Improve the processes along with a deep understanding of how the source to pay process interacts with upstream and downstream processes.
- Process harmonization and standardization within respective business domain Source to Pay
- Identifying the operational difficulties that the staff face in their daily operations
- Documenting, supervising, and monitoring details of AS IS business processes
- Reviewing TO BE business process documentation and identifying gaps
- Ensuring that the processes being implemented are in line with the company’s operations and do not affect other departments’ operations
- Be an active part of the implementation team
- Identifying potential threats and informing all concerned parties in a timely manner
- Facilitating change management within their team and answering queries/alleviating fears
- Foreseeing future hurdles and preparing a mitigation strategy
- Successful implementation of SAP with acceptability across all hierarchies
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management related field; Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba in SAP Best Practices Program implementation
- Experience in project management and process improvement (e.g. Lean Process Improvement, Six Sigma, etc.) in an engineering industry.

- Demonstrated ability to motivate others, negotiate appropriately, and coordinate efforts across multiple departments
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to proactively manage a variety of projects and timelines.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and related reporting requirements
- Fluent in English. German or Danish is a plus.
