This is a full-time position based in **Berlin, Germany.**

**Your Role**:

- You will define and evangelize Backbone aesthetic and design language
- You can take broad, conceptual ideas and execute them across all phases of the design work, from conception to execution
- Use human-centered design methodologies and practices to elevate the customer-centricity in the company (e.g. conduct workshops, brainstorming sessions, user research etc.)
- You will partner with product managers, developers, and a wide range of stakeholders to create a holistic experience for our users
- You will mentor and support other designers to excel

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of relevant design experience in digital products, preferably in B2B or SaaS platforms
- You take initiative and like to experiment, showcasing product thinking, storytelling, and design craft.
- Have experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams in iterative product development cycles
- Experience leading and mentoring more junior designers
- English language skills are mandatory. French, German, or any other language is a plus.
- You are located in Berlin and/or you are willing to relocate to Berlin.
- Experience with Sketch, Figma, Abstract or similar design tools.
