Gen Re currently offers an excellent opportunity for **Actuary (d/f/m)** to work in the Actuarial based in our **Germany** office. This is a hybrid role.

**Your Role**
- Support and perform actuarial cash flow modeling using various tools
- Develop and update actuarial models for our reinsurance business
- Generate cash flow projections under different accounting standards including Solvency II, IFRS, and US GAAP
- Review and set reserves in compliance with various accounting regimes including HGB (German GAAP), Solvency II, IFRS 17, and US GAAP with a focus on LDTI
- Participate in projects related to accounting regulations and reserving methodologies
- Work on other areas pertaining to life and health reinsurance
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data and reports

**Your Profile**
- College or advanced degree in mathematics or statistics, with actuarial experience in life and health insurance or reinsurance
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Adaptability and resilience, with innovative problem-solving skills considering economic implications
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written), and at least one additional language due to international responsibilities
