Gen Re currently offers an excellent opportunity for a **Pricing Actuary (d/f/m)** in our **Cologne** office within our P&C International Unit.

Your Role
- You report to the Head of Quantitative Underwriting Support and assist with pricing of P&C reinsurance treaties.
- You design the prices of reinsurance treaties in collaboration with underwriters, especially German language submissions.
- Developing strong working relationships with the underwriters and continual improvement of existing processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency, includes your position as well.
- In addition, you will support international pricing with tool maintenance and development during quiet periods.
- An Ad hoc support for the wider Actuarial and Underwriting Teams as required, is also one of your tasks.

Your Profile
- You have an excellent academic background of a technical or mathematical nature and have experiences in reinsurance, preferably in pricing.
- You have completed an actuarial training from a recognised association (DAV/IFoA/CAS/etc.) and have experience with reinsurance pricing.
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with programming languages such as VBA, R, Python, or C++ would be beneficial.
- You can speak English and German fluently.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people from all areas of the business but also able to work independently is also required.
- You are a cultural fit for the team being open to challenge, willing to pitch in, and approachable.
