For our Unit **Global Life/Health Underwriting and Research & Development** we are looking for a dedicated **Senior Actuary (d/f/m)** to strengthen our team in **Cologne **as soon as possible.

Your Role
- Development of innovative life and health insurance products for our international primary insurance clients
- Design and assessment of individual product elements in international and interdisciplinary teams of actuaries, market specialists, underwriting and claims managers
- Research and actuarial modelling to quantify mortality, morbidity or disability risk
- Analysis of primary insurance and reinsurance portfolios for the further development of calculation bases and pricing tools
- Teamwork with other actuaries and data scientists on data modelling (e.g. GLMs, GBMs)
- Mentoring and providing guidance to other team members
- Presenting at client workshops, internal and external events or in specialist publications

Your Profile
- At least five years post-qualification experience as qualified actuary at an insurance or reinsurance company or the life unit of a consultancy
- Practical experience in advanced statistical analysis and ideally with handling large datasets
- Ability to communicate complex ideas and issues to a varied audience
- Excellent English skills; German and additional language skills a plus
- Ideally experience in either disability, health, or critical illness business

You are agile and attracted by the challenge of consistently getting to grips with new scenarios and issues and can work both in a team and independently. Furthermore, smooth communication skills and team spirit round off your profile.
