Here at Swappie, the largest iPhone refurbisher in Europe, we are building the leading end-to-end platform for refurbished electronics and shaping consumer behavior towards a more sustainable one. We bring the circular economy to the masses by buying phones from customers and companies, checking and repairing them in our advanced in-house facilities, and selling them in top condition with a proper warranty. **GLOBAL PR SPECIALIST**

As Global PR Specialist you will take over a meaningful role within the company and drive communication activities for a young and appealing brand. In this role, you will take ownership of the earned channels of communication, supporting the development of the communication strategy and seeing the implementation of it throughout countries. You act in a key role in all matters related to our media strategy and representing the company to develop the Swappie brand further. You shall take over global consumer PR activities and support countries in developing their local PR strategies, generating great coverage for the brand and its products.

The role will work closely with the Head of Marketing Communication in bringing a world-class communication approach across corporate and consumer PR activities.

We wish you could join our international team in Berlin or Amsterdam, but also more than happy to welcome you to Helsinki or Tallinn. The work will also include some traveling due to occasional press trips or local events.

**WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON**
- Independently strategize consumer PR, formulate and execute ideas, drive consumer-facing campaigns and collaborate with cross-functional partners
- Ensure integrated communications approach, considering especially consumer audiences and communications channels, including also influencers and digital PR
- Centralise and help coordinate all strategic PR campaigns across markets (launch/consumer/brand)
- Develop and execute consumer PR measurement framework
- Manage direct relationships with publications and provide them with meaningful content related to Swappie and the circularity movement.
- You will be an active part of our policy communication activities and collaborate closely with our head of public affairs.
- Manage relationships with local PR agencies and publications in each of our main markets.
- Build narratives and put together PR plans across Europe to support the Swappie brand.
- Support the Swappie leadership and country managers in media interactions where needed.
- Contribute to the corporate PR activities and crisis comms.
- Handle other important ad hoc public relations in collaboration with key management, public affairs manager and external associations (es. EUREFAS).

**WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE**
- A few years of experience in public relations and communication from agencies within the UK, German or Dutch market.
- Experience in managing agencies, and a ready built network of media relations in Germany, UK or the Netherlands.
- Skills to tell exceptional stories and communicate in a concise manner.
- Excellent spoken and written skills in English with highly effective interpersonal skills.
- A passion for circular thinking and for making a difference for the environment
