A career within Scope as a Senior IFRS Specialist will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for complex IFRS financial reporting issues. You have a solution-oriented approach that creatively addresses complex financial reporting problems whilst having significant interaction with senior management. This position is highly visible, challenging and experience of IFRS is imperative.

Your tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation of the IFRS consolidated financial statements (monthly and annually) including the Notes, preparation of the necessary audit documents and contact person for the auditors
- Securing correct adaptation of IFRS standards
- Establishment and care of an IFRS Accounting manual
- You will be involved in the analysis and implementation of requirements from new standards and legislative projects as well as in the creation and further development of binding internal guidelines

Your professional & personal profile
- Solid financial reporting background with at least 5 years’ experience in the accounting department of an internationally active company and/or in auditing at a Big4 auditing firm and/or at a listed company
- Extensive knowledge of accounting policies and IFRS standards
- Experience in the preparation and/or audit of IFRS consolidated financial statements
- A high business awareness and proven analytical skills to ensure value add to our organisation
- Ability to handle multiple assignments whilst ensuring on time delivery
- Fluency in English
