**We are seeking**:

- in the in Faculty III: School of Economic Disciplines to begin at the next possible date, a**University Professor (W2/ W3)**

**for Management Accounting and Control**

**Your Responsibilities**:

- You will represent the area Management Accounting and Control in research and teaching. The advertised professorship should contribute to the strategic development of research, particularly in the fields of performance management, sustainability control systems and control leadership. In terms of teaching, you will be involved in the Bachelor's programme in Business Administration and in particular in the Master's programmes in “Controlling and Risk Management”, “Accounting, Auditing & Taxation” as well as in the courses offered by the Faculty for other degree programmes at the University of Siegen. The teaching commitment is 9 semester hours per week.**Your profile**:

- You fulfil the legal requirements for employment (- 36 HG NRW, Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia). Further information on these requirements can be found at service.uni-siegen.de/prof.
- You have an above-average Dr. or PhD in Business Administration or Management.
- You have a research focus in several, preferably many, of the following areas: Sustainability, Risk Management/Risk Governance, SMEs and Entrepreneurship or Business Analytics.
- Your profile (W3 university professorship):
- You have international visibility, as demonstrated by an above-average impact of your research results within the academic community, publications in renowned journals, citations, prominent ranking positions and awards.
- You have extensive experience in the independent and successful acquisition of third-party funding.
- You have teaching experience in your field at all levels of higher education, as evidenced by teaching evaluations. You also have experience in supervising theses and dissertations.
- Your profile (W2 university professorship):
- You have international visibility, as demonstrated by an above-average impact of your research results within the academic community or through publications in renowned journals.
- You have a proven track record in successfully obtaining external funding.
- You have teaching experience in your field at all levels of higher education, as evidenced by teaching evaluations. You also have experience in supervising theses.-
