**Your Responsibilities**:
**Your profile**:

- You meet the legal requirements for employment (- 36 HG NRW). Information on this and further details can be found at service.uni-siegen.de/professur.
- You have practical experience in the field of special needs education as well as an educational research and teaching profile in the field of diagnostics and counselling in schools and classrooms. The research profile must be supported by appropriate publications (including peer-reviewed publications).
- Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding is expected.The future holder of the position should be willing to contribute to the professional development of the study programmes with integrated special needs education and to participate in projects of regional school and teaching development with a view to inclusion. The willingness to engage in educational research at the Centre for Teacher Education and to actively and constructively participate in the university's self-governing committees is a prerequisite.
- In addition to the general requirements under civil service law, the requirements for employment are a completed university degree, pedagogical aptitude, the special aptitude for academic work in the field of educational science, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate in educational science, additional academic achievements, which are evaluated exclusively and comprehensively in the appointment procedure, as well as teaching experience and proof of didactic competence. Additional academic achievements are made in the context of a junior professorship, a habilitation or work as a research associate at a university or non-university research institution or in the context of other academic work.**Your contact person**:
