**The Role**:
NewStore’s Director of Security is the owner of ensuring availability, integrity and confidentiality of customer, business partner, employee and business information.
They work with executive management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization, codifying this into security policies, and establish and maintain a company-wide program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.
**What You'll Do**:
- Establish, develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive information security and risk management program
- Work directly with teams to facilitate risk assessment and remedy issues
- Develop and enhance an information security management framework, based on NIST
- Partner with GC / other business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management issues
- Help build the technology vision, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of eight to 12 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27001
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity
- Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams
- Specific experience in Agile / XP team environments
- Experience with AWS environments
